The Firth of Clyde Dry Dock Company Ltd was incorporated as a limited liability company in 1958 , operating the dry dock facility at Inchgreen, Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland , from its opening in 1964. Its ability to accommodate ships of up to 150,000 dwt made it one of only seven such docks throughout the world.
